Life on earth is in mortal danger. This is the main idea behind the An Inconvenient truth movie. This movie has shown how serious the global warming effect is. Al Gore has proven with many evidences the relation between the increasing of temperature with the carbon dioxide. However, some writers think that the movie is more political rather than being a documentary movie. This essay will examine some arguments for and against the movie.
One writer is against Al Gore and pointed in his review that this movie is political as it gives Bush’s administration a hard time by their disastrous environmental records (Wesley). Al Gore uses this film as a platform for the 2008 presidential run (Wesley).
A positive point of view about the movie is that the An Inconvenient Truth is a documentary movie shows the effect of global warming on our planet (Scott). It is a necessary film to educate the people in how big the global warming effect is (Scott). Al Gore has proven that the life on earth is in danger. All the evidences and figures shown in the movie are good enough to convince the audiences.
In my point of view about this realistic movie is that; this movie was well made to show the issue of global warming in the very convenient way.
